Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Cedar Lakeside Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Salt Lake City design routes and schedules. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
