Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Bright Fern Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for cleaning schedules and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
