Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Clearpath Forge Foods produces packaged foods at its Salt Lake City plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 904 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
