Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Salt Lake City, UT)

Harborlight Yarrow Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Salt Lake City, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
