Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Sacramento, CA)

Rivermark Orchard Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Sacramento working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for route schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
