Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Sacramento, CA)

Amberfield Keystone Foods is a Sacramento food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for allergen controls and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
