Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Rochester, NY)

Greenridge Oak Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Rochester. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 151 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
