Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Oak Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
