Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Sable Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Richmond plant. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for tooling and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
