Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Sable Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Reno. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
