Operations Manager - throughput and quality (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Keystone Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 867 people based in Reno. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
