Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Beacon Manufacturing and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for production lines and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
