Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Highbridge West Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Virginia Beach. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for landfill records and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
