Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Fox Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for El Paso and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
