Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Cedar Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Grand Rapids, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
