Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Northwind Harbor Energy is an energy provider in Detroit focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Track performance measures for service connections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
