Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Quill Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Memphis. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 582 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for equipment calibration and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
