Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Nova Clear Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Albuquerque, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for customer tracking and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
