Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Ironwood Stone Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Baltimore, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
