Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Quarry Inspection Services is an inspection company in Providence with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for scheduling and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
