Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Hartford with field technicians and lab staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
