Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Harborlight Oak Foods Group is a Hartford food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for production batches and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
