Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Northwind Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Colorado Springs design routes and schedules, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 933 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Colorado Springs. • We reply to every applicant.
