Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Quarry Environmental Services and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for service complaints and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
