Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Mill Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Spokane, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 473 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
