Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Forge Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for test reports and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
