Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Stonegate Glen Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Boston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 704 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
