Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Redstone Loom Construction is a Sacramento contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
