Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Nova Stone Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in New Orleans, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fleet maintenance and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with weigh tickets. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
