Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Cedar Kestrel Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Pittsburgh and nearby communities, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Track performance measures for pipe repairs and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
