Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Corner Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 174 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
