Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bright Nest Manufacturing is a Portland manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 851 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
