Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Harborlight Clear Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Knoxville, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 292 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
