Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Cedar Studio delivers building projects for owners across the San Jose region. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
