Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Westbrook Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Salt Lake City, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
