Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Silverline Quill Farms is an agricultural business based around New Orleans, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for seasonal crews and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
