Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Silverline Rowan Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Pittsburgh, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
