Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Silverline Quarry Freight is a El Paso logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
