Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Lumen Yarrow Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Virginia Beach. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for recycling loads and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
