Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bright Field Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for capital projects and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
