Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Summit Ashton Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for sanitation schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
