Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Forge Foods and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for ingredient orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
