Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Clear Farms Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be throughput and quality. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
