Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bright Drift Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Tampa, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for sanitation schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
