Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Rivermark Clear Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Fresno region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. You would join a large organisation of about 911 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
