Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Silverline Drift Foods Group produces packaged foods at its Knoxville plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
