Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Nova Fox Construction is a Memphis contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
