Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Bluepeak Drift Foods Group produces packaged foods at its St. Louis plant, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our throughput and quality. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
