Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Clearpath Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on throughput and quality. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
