Operations Manager - throughput and quality (remote)

Fernwood Fox Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on throughput and quality for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
